We are proud to announce that the company’s sustainability efforts have been recognised with a Level 2 rating in the NHS Evergreen sustainability maturity assessment. This achievement highlights System C’s commitment to comprehensive Net Zero targets and transparent reporting of carbon emissions.

Aligning with NHS Net Zero and Sustainability Ambitions

The Evergreen Sustainable Supplier Assessment is a comprehensive reporting tool which enables organisations to engage with the NHS on their sustainability journey and understand how to align those goals with the NHS Net Zero and sustainability ambitions, including those set out in the NHS Net Zero Supplier Roadmap.

The assessment evaluated our sustainability practices against rigorous maturity criteria. Achieving Level 2 signifies that we have established robust Net Zero targets and is actively reporting on carbon emissions, demonstrating dedication to environmental responsibility and sustainability.

Proven commitment to Sustainability Goals

Whilst this recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team in driving sustainable practices across our operations, it is not the only milestone in our sustainability journey.

This accolade sits alongside us completing the Schneider Electric Greenhouse Gases Accelerator Programme to baseline our scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions and set validated near-term science-based GHG reduction targets. As well as achieving an Ecovadis Silver sustainability rating and achieving ESOS Phase 3 compliance in July 2024.

Having reduced GHG emissions by 347 tonnes of CO2 equivalent over 2024 we remain committed to advancing our sustainability accreditation and will continue to implement innovative solutions to further reduce our carbon footprint. We look forward to achieving even higher levels of sustainability maturity in the future.
