System C today announced the acquisition of Australian health and care management tech provider MYP Technologies. This strategic move deepens System C’s presence in the region and supports ambitious plans to expand its social care and maternity product offerings across Australia and New Zealand.
The acquisition marks a significant step in System C’s international growth strategy. System C has an established footprint in Australia and New Zealand, where the company has a national contract to provide the System C maternity platform, and has deployed a state wide platform for child protection in the Northern Territory. MYP will enable accelerated growth in Australia by building local deployment and customer success teams. This will better support for customers in the region while also providing enhanced 24/7 capability for existing customers in the UK and Ireland.
With System C’s established leadership in the UK’s healthcare and local government markets, the company is also now poised to support the acceleration of MYP’s growth beyond Australia, particularly in the UK where demand for innovative digital care solutions continues to rise.
Leadership Commentary on the Acquisition
Nick Wilson, CEO of System C, commented: “MYP gives us a strong local base in Australia, where we already have customers and we are keen to expand the reach of our social care solution, Liquidlogic. We also provide our maternity software, BadgerNet, in New Zealand, and this acquisition reinforces our long-term commitment to the region. MYP is an exciting business with ambitious goals and we’re looking forward to supporting and scaling those ambitions together.”
John Fisher, CEO of MYP Technologies, added: “This is a fantastic opportunity to grow both locally and internationally. With System C’s support, we can fast-track our product roadmap and extend our reach within Australia. I’m especially excited about introducing additional MYP Technologies solutions to the UK market, with several UK organisations using insight today. With a strong cultural fit across both organisations, leveraging our combined experience and expertise opens up exciting new possibilities for innovation and impact.”
This acquisition brings together two mission-driven companies with a shared focus on delivering technology with the power to connect and transform health and care outcomes for all.
