We have recently announced the successful development of a new ground-breaking AI capability.  In partnership with Microsoft, our AI Assistant for Social Care will support social care practitioners by reducing their admin burden. 

Frontline workers will be able to simply record their assessment or meetings with citizens via smartphone or laptop.  The AI Assistant will then transcribe the audio and populate responses to required workflows which will improve accuracy whilst saving time on the administrative overhead of typing up meeting notes.

This can save up to 45 minutes per full needs assessment, leading to time savings exceeding £1 million per year.  This will depend on the volume of assessments undertaken but is readily achievable for most local authorities.  This capability will be available within our Liquidlogic social care software for Adults and Children. 

Cutting Edge Technology with Microsoft

This new solution leverages a secure and compliant Microsoft-hosted version of the ChatGPT large language model (LLM) to deliver the ground-breaking solution. The AI Assistant generates draft responses into locally defined forms, cross-referencing the responses back to the assessment meetings. By removing what can be a heavy administrative burden on the practitioner, means that they can give more focused time to the citizen when in discussion. 

Proof of Value with Local Authorities 

We are embarking on a Proof of Value (POV) exercise with several local authorities, including Cheshire East Council. The POV aims to establish the benefits in a real-life environment and demonstrate how it can be used at scale.
