The Liquidlogic Delegation Portal can bring many benefits for Adults’ Social Care, Deprivation of Liberty Standards (DoLS) and Safeguarding. These benefits also extend to include 3rd party professionals and partner agencies. This document sets out some illustrative examples of how this can be done.
Secure, Role-Based Access
By enabling secure, role-based access to specific areas of the case management system, the Delegation Portal facilitates more efficient collaboration and information sharing across different organisations. For example, care providers and legal representatives can grant access to relevant records, improving the timeliness of decisions.
In the context of Adult Social Care, the portal enables streamlined communication with external care agencies, enhancing care coordination and minimising administrative delays. For DoLS, it enables Best Interests Assessors and Independent Mental Capacity Advocates (IMCAs) to input assessments and documentation directly into the system. For Safeguarding, the portal empowers multi-agency safeguarding hubs (MASH) and external safeguarding partners to contribute real-time information, supporting quicker risk assessments and more informed interventions.
Enhancing Transparency and Governance
Additionally, the Delegation Portal supports transparency and accountability, as all interactions and updates are recorded within the system. This provides a clear audit trail, ensuring that partner involvement meets governance and data protection standards.
Ultimately, the portal enhances inter-agency collaboration, supports more responsive care and safeguarding outcomes, and reduces the administrative burden on local authority teams.
