Emergency department manages all clinical and administrative aspects of emergency care as a fully integrated module of the CareFlow EPR.
The system collects clinical data throughout the emergency department episode, tracks patients as they move through the department and externally to theatre or for investigations and generates discharge summaries which can be transmitted directly to the GP. A&E whiteboards show the status of individual patients and the department as a whole.
