Peterborough City Children's Services is looking positively to the future with a programme of social care changes to put the safeguarding of children at the forefront of practice.
Liquidlogic, a leading provider of social care software and a McKesson company, is pleased to announce that Peterborough City Council is now live with the PROTOCOL Children's Social Care solution for case management and effective multi-agency working.
The system will support practitioners at Peterborough with the current programme of improvements which include; improving the quality of casework, encouraging a stable and consistent team of practitioners and managers, enabling better relationships between partner agencies and more focus on early intervention services.
Following a smooth installation and data migration from Peterborough's original system, the foundations are now in place to make rapid and noticeable changes to the way children's services are delivered across the City.
Elaine Alexander, Head of Projects and Change Management for Children's Services at Peterborough City Council said, "We have been live for nearly two months now, with the changeover from our old solution to Protocol being virtually painless and the feedback from end users being almost entirely positive - this has to be attributed to the outstanding support we received from our partners at Liquidlogic and Serco and our own meticulous attention to detail which resulted in a such a successful implementation."
