Oxford Computer Consultants Joins the System C Family.

System C Healthcare (“System C”) is pleased to announce that it has acquired Oxford Computer Consultants (“OCC”), a leading British IT business specialising in integrated contracts and finance solutions for social care within local government, as well as designing and developing customised software for a broad range of organisations. OCC supplies solutions to the private and public sectors, including local government and the NHS, leading technology companies and departments of the University of Oxford. OCC also provides consultancy services to a wide range of industries.

System C has a long-standing partnership with OCC. System C’s Liquidlogic Adults' and Children’s Social Care System shares a seamless integration with OCC’s social care finance solution, ContrOCC, which enables teams to manage contracts, make payments to providers, and collect contributions from users.

Founded in 1989, OCC employs more than 100 IT professionals. There are two arms to the business. Firstly, its local government software products, which are used by local authorities, and cover integrated contracts and finance solutions for social care. This includes one of OCC’s flagship products, 'MarketPlace', an intuitive search engine for social care services and information, integrated with NHS Choices, Ofsted, CQC and council case management and finance systems. 

The second part of the business is its custom software division. OCC’s Innovation Delivery team works with clients from a wide range of industries, including healthcare, engineering, business services, and research, to create and evolve custom software from their ideas or early stage development. Customers include the University of Oxford, Sport England, and AiSentia.

The acquisition will enable System C to expand its portfolio with OCC’s complementary offering and provide enhanced value to existing customers and local authorities.
