North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust Signs with System C.

The North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust has signed a seven-year PAS/EPR contract with System C. The new Trust opened its doors for business on Saturday 1 April, following the merger between Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Hinchingbrooke Healthcare Community Trust.

System C’s Medway software will be deployed across the Trust’s three hospital sites in Hinchingbrooke, Peterborough and Stamford, with go-live due in summer 2018.

The contract covers a PAS, business intelligence software, interoperability with existing Trust systems such as Sunquest ICE and Agfa PACs, interfacing with Personal Demographics Service and integration with the Trust’s in house developed e-Track clinical portal.

The new Medway software replaces two separate PAS/EPR systems, so the project involves combining data and standardising processes from both. System C is experienced at supporting Trust mergers in this way and most recently deployed Medway into University Hospitals of the North Midlands, which combined the North Staffordshire and Mid Staffordshire acute trusts.
