Knowsley Council goes live with new education system
24th August 2020
Knowsley Council is the latest to take the Early Years & Education System live from Liquidlogic, replacing the incumbent Capita system. Already users of the Liquidlogic case management system in adults’ and children’s social care, the council was keen to implement EYES.
Speaking about the go-live, Cllr Margaret Harvey, Knowsley Council’s Cabinet Member for Children’s Services, said:
We want to provide all education, early years and social work teams with as much relevant information as possible to help support their work with children and families.
Implementing EYES will enable users to access information about a child from a number of settings including social care, education or early years. We also use Liquidlogic’s Adult Social Care system (LAS), giving us greater access to information if adults are linked to children in our care.
We anticipate an improvement in the accuracy and accessibility of data as well as reducing administration time through the implementation of Liquidlogic EYES.
Commenting on the latest EYES go-live, David Grigsby, Managing Director at Liquidlogic said:
This go-live adds to our expanding footprint in the early years and education software market. Knowsley Council has high expectations for the delivery of services to children and families within their area, so the fact that they selected EYES is notable.
Increasingly, councils want to see a joined up view of education, early years, social care, SEN and early help; EYES is proving to be the solution to this. We are delighted to welcome Knowsley Council to the growing EYES customer group.
