EPR Training Lead
Location:
Homebased
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing the delivery of client training activities on a regular basis as part of the overall Implementation Services deployment methodology.
- Develop and enhance new and existing courses.
- Works with EPR Delivery managers to identify areas of improvement.
- Recommends areas of improvement and solutions to problems.
- Ownership of delivering training projects through to completion.
- Provide mentor/coach/buddy for other Training Specialists and Implementation Specialists.
- Delivery of internal and external courses (train the trainer & end user)
- Responsible for applying department standards.
- Responsible for raising potential risks/issues through the team leader.
- Keeping up to date with legislation and functional changes.
- Contributing ideas and content for additional implementation materials e.g. How to Guides, MS Teams sessions, e-Learning software etc.
- Contributing towards team meetings and team workshops.
- Preparation and maintenance of training documentation to support Product Training.
- Ability to receive assignments in form of objectives and process to meet goals.
- Ability to conduct training needs analyses.
Person Specification:
- 3+ years of functional training experience.
- Current training qualification.
- Proven leadership abilities.
- Solid knowledge of technical training and demonstrated leadership skills.
- Experience working with or for the NHS.
- Thorough understanding of the operational procedures within the different departments that make up the NHS.
- A successful and proven track record in working to tight deadlines in a busy challenging environment.
- Experience of dealing with clients and prioritising the outstanding tasks.
Skills Required:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills both orally and in writing.
- Ability to organise and co-ordinate areas of work for yourself and others.
- Self-starter with great determination and motivation to succeed.
- Ability to influence, organise and plan.
- Ability to work within project constraints to ensure that milestones and delivery dates are met.
- Willingness to travel and work away from home.
- Exposure to the core working operational practices of an NHS Acute Trust.
- Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
- Elearning authoring and experience of learning management systems (Articulate is desirable).
- Coaching skills.
- Understanding of Clinical Systems.
