Deployment SME

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work closely with and provide support to the deployment project teams to facilitate a smooth implementation of CareFlow EPR and any associated 3rd party integrated software solutions
- Provide onsite SME expertise when required to client /project teams
- Produce up to date deployment collateral for changes to their area of responsibility
- Undertaking workshops to train other personnel internal or customer.
- Undertake product solution demonstrations for the client clearly presenting the benefits of the solution
- Supporting the deployment project team, undertake a gap analysis exercise to identify and ensure the product solution / application can absorb all current and future operational procedures
- Working with the client, undertake configuration design workshops and ensure clear management and control of the configuration build and associated documentation
- Conduct regular reviews of the configuration build for each project and associated documentation and resolve any issues within area of responsibility
- Support product solution training as required (train the trainer & end user)
- Support the testing of new and maintenance product solution releases
- Some projects may include involvement in the development, maintenance and production of documentation relating to the use of ad-hoc data collection tools for client sites
- Assist with product solution testing to ensure fit for purpose and go live
Skills and Experience:
- At least 6 years’ experience with CareFlow EPR or other advanced Patient Management or Clinical solution, having experience in a significant number of the following areas:
- Responsibility for leading the Implementation Specialist deployment activities for deployment of a module or modules at a Trust site or multiples sites
- Documentation of user guides/training guides
- Product demonstrations/workshops
- Provision of Training
- Creation of test scenarios and test scripts.
- Conducting testing and taking responsibility for approving module/modules fit for release.
- At least 2 years’ experience of CareFlow Core PAS
- Experience working in or for the NHS
- Thorough understanding of the operational procedures within the different departments that make up the NHS
- Understanding of the importance of the data collection and reporting required by central government to record NHS activity
- A successful and proven track record in working to tight deadlines in a busy challenging environment
- Experience of dealing with clients and prioritising the outstanding tasks

- Self-starter with great determination and motivation to succeed
- Ability to influence, organise and plan
- Ability to work within project constraints to ensure that milestones and delivery dates are met
- Able to work away from home and willingness to travel
