New Contract with CSC Ltd
System C Healthcare Plc is pleased to announce
that it has signed a new three year services contract with Computer
Sciences Limited (CSC).
System C has provided design, build, test and
deployment services in support of CSC's NHS contracts for over
two years and will now supply similar services until May 2009.
This new contract means that System C will
continue to be part of the CSC Alliance, the Local Services
Provider (LSP) working in partnership with the NHS Connecting for
Health North West and West Midlands Cluster to deliver the National
Programme for IT (NPfIT) in that region.
System C CEO Ian Denley said "This has been a
very successful relationship and we are proud of our contribution
to CSC's significant deployment achievements to date. There is
a large amount of work to be done over the coming years and we are
looking forward to delivering our part."
Bill Thomson, CSC's Operations Director on the NHS Programme
said "System C has been developing and
deploying clinical systems into the NHS for over a decade. Their
experience is invaluable and CSC are very pleased to be extending
our relationship."
