System C and Fujistu sign contract for work in Southern Cluster

System C Healthcare plc is pleased to announce that is has signed a contract with Fujitsu Services for work with them for NHS Connecting for Health in the Southern Cluster.

System C will provide support to Fujistu in the provision of expert domain staff to augment the Fujistu deployment teams in the rollout of the NHS Care Records Service (NHS CRS) across the Southern Cluster.

Fujistu are the Local Service Provider (LSP) for the South of England and are providing local systems and services to healthcare professionals across the south to access and use the new NHS CRS.

The new contract means that System C will be working in partnership with Fujistu to help deploy the new systems within the NHS Connecting for Health Southern Cluster to deliver the National Programme for IT (NPfIT) in that region.

System C CEO, Dr Ian Denley said, "This is an exciting time for System C to be involved in the deployment of the National Programme within the Southern Cluster. We are looking forward to a successful relationship with Fujistu in the deployment of their new systems using our experience gained from working within the NHS IT sector for over fourteen years."
