AGM Statement 22 Nov 2005

The following will be read out by Jim Horsburgh the Company's Chairman at the company's Annual General Meeting to be held at 10.30am today 22nd November 2005.

"It has been well documented in recent months that changes in system scope within the National Programme for IT (NPfIT), and structural changes within the NHS, have led to a rescheduling of new deployments by the four UK regional Local Service Providers. This volatility in the flow of contracted work has created more difficult market conditions for many suppliers, and has led to revenue not being generated as fast as anticipated for the first half of our financial year. We have maintained our operational and development capacity to ensure that we are able to take full advantage of the significant business opportunities referred to below.

Overall demand for new systems remains high and these timing changes have generated very significant new product and services opportunities which we are currently negotiating. The outcome of these negotiations will have a significant impact on the results for the full year and beyond.

Our reputation for products and service delivery record is increasingly recognised within the industry, and we remain in a strong position to profit from growth opportunities as NPfIT gathers pace. We are well supported in this by a strong cash and balance sheet position.

Our interim results will be announced on 25th January 2006."
