20th March 2006Successful launch of System C User Group

System C Healthcare plc, specialists in the provision of
information systems and solutions to the healthcare sector, held
the first user forum for its latest successful product
HealthData Manager.
Nine Trusts joined members of the HealthData Manager team and
Business Objects at the event, which was hosted at System C's
Warrington offices last week.
The forum gave Trusts an opportunity to share their experiences of
creating management information reports from patient activity data
which can be stored, analysed and presented to their own
requirements using HealthData Manager. There were opportunities
during the day to see the latest developments and enhancements to
the system, learn some tips on report creation and see the latest
Business Objects™ "Dashboard" functionality.
One strong message that came out of the day was how HealthData Manager is helping Trusts to handle new information data flows; to understand the data from new PAS functionality and to identify data quality issues.
The forum concluded with all members agreeing that the user group was a great opportunity to share ideas, successes and tips on their own use of HealthData Manager, and to provide feedback to System C, especially as Trusts are at different stages of deployment.
Simon Lind, ICT Project Manager, Hereford PCT commented, I thought that the day was really well organised and gave a fantastic opportunity to get together with other HDM users to share experiences. I was impressed with the tone of the day and that the company seemed open and responsive to its users."
And Helen Dean, Senior Information Analyst, Lancashire Care NHS Trust, added, "I just wanted to say thanks! I thought that it was really useful meeting the other users so that experiences could be shared and also I found it quite a confidence boost, I was so unsure about what I was doing but by the end of the day I felt quite good about it all!"
