16th June 2009System C partners with Microsoft at healthcare innovation conference

System C Healthcare is teaming up with Microsoft to give a hands-on demonstration of innovation in the healthcare marketplace.

The two companies will be exhibiting together at The Innovation EXPO 2009, to be held in London's Docklands on June 18-19th.

System C will be showcasing its new clinical intelligence technology. The company last month won a high-profile contract from NHS Connecting for Health to design, develop and implement pilot Clinical Intelligence Systems in over a dozen NHS Trusts across England.

These systems will provide clinicians with the tools and up-to-the-minute information they need to inform prompt decision-making and to measure, analyse and improve the quality of patient care.

Keynote speakers at the conference include David Nicholson, chief executive of the NHS in England and health minister Lord Darzi.  Lord Darzi highlighted the need to accelerate innovation in his Next Stage review of the NHS published last year.

System C will be demonstrating its Medway Sigma range of Microsoft-based patient management and clinical software applications.
