Connecting Health and Social Care

System C and Liquidlogic are specialists in health and social care respectively.  Since the two companies merged in 2009 they have been working closely together to meet the needs of the new joined up health and social care initiatives.  The objective is to deliver high quality connected care across organisational boundaries.  Together, the two companies work with over a hundred local authorities and NHS Trusts and are therefore well positioned to help deliver connected care.

The companies offer a number of solutions in the joined up health and social care arena, some of which are used by many thousands of users:

• Liquidlogic's applications support collaborative working and the design of workflow processes and data collection/assessment tools, which improve service delivery across health and social care.
• The PROTOCOL eSAP solution provides health and social care organisations with a shared record for older people.  Its software solutions for children's services support delivery across social care, health, education and the police. 
• System C and Liquidlogic have joined together with Microsoft and Orion Health to produce the first health and social care link under NHS Connecting for Health's (CfH) new standards for systems integration.  The solution takes a patient's discharge summary created on System C's Medway PAS/EPR and sends it within an electronic message to Liquidlogic's PROTOCOL Integrated Adults' System (IAS).  
• System C has moved its clinical dashboards into the social care arena, allowing users to view health and social care data using a variety of gauges, dials and indicators.
