Medway Maternity

Medway Maternity is a specialist maternity system which provides a complete solution to documenting a woman's obstetric pathway. It covers the first booking visit, all antenatal care including fetal medicine, and all aspects of labour management, postnatal care and discharge information.

Medway Maternity is modular. Departments can either run a base system collecting information for national reporting, or buy additional modules to support a full fetal, maternal and neonatal real-time clinical record.  It tracks care for both mother and baby, and records full intrapartum assessments including monitoring and archiving of CTG results.

Various input devices, including laptops and digital pens, can be used to record patient information at the point of care and transmit it back to the electronic notes  - providing a real-time link between community-based and hospital care.
