Connecting for Health is a government NHS agency that System C provides experienced healthcare IT deployment specialists to.

The Connecting for Health agency help the NHS to deliver better and safer care to patients, through the use of computer systems and services. 

Data Migration is the term used to describe the process of transferring data between storage types, formats or IT systems.

Data Migration is needed in organisations when an organisation decides to use a new computing system or database management system and the data on the old system needs to be moved onto the new system.

An Electronic Medical Record or ERM is described as a medical record that is stored in digital format.

An electronic patient record or EPR is a record of personal patient information that is stored in a digital format. 

A Healthcare System can be described as a computer system that is designed specifically for a healthcare environment.

System C has designed their own Patient Administration System (PAS) and Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system know as MedWay. 

MedWay is now used by a number of healthcare organisations and provides support for the majority of clinical and administrative users through a single integrated product.

NHS IT is what is says, IT systems within the NHS.  System C is helping to improve patient care with the implementation of better NHS IT systems.  

NPfIT, or National Programme for I.T as it is often known is the NHS project that is being delivered by the Government agency Connecting for Health.  It is a major project to computerise the English NHS and ultimately improve patient care.

The Patient Administration System created by System C is the brains of a healthcare organisation's software system and supports care pathway registrations, such as patient master data, referral, admission, discharge, birth registration etc.
