  • System C floats on Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in a £47.7 million IPO.

  • System C staff play active roles in over 50 significant go-lives across all care settings within the NHS on behalf of its LSP customers.

  • Dr Ian Denley, previously director of operations, appointed chief executive
  • National Programme for IT (NPfIT) created

  • Contracts to assist in the implementation of the National Care Records Service were signed with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) and Accenture.

1996-04    

  • Developed, sold, & implemented a range of clinical hospital systems at a number of NHS Trusts, including:
  • Hastings & Rother NHS Trust - clinical information system
  • Aintree Hospitals NHS Trust - Hospital-wide Patient Administration System (PAS)
  • Sandwell NHS Trust - PAS and clinical systems
  • Queen Mary's Sidcup NHS Trust - clinical information system
  • Tameside & Glossop Acute Services NHS Trust - PAS and Electronic Patient Record (EPR)
  • Swindon and Marlborough NHS Trust - PAS, EPR, telephony, data/voice networking
  • Christie Hospitals NHS Trust - PAS, EPR

1998         

  • Acquisition of ReMass, a specialist supplier of Accident and Emergency systems. 

1994         

  • Entered the healthcare market, using the company's software development tools to develop a wide range of clinical and administrative systems for hospitals. 

1983         

  • System C established by Markus Bolton and Andy Williams. The company  developed and marketed Sycero, a 4GL software tool used to write bespoke systems for clients such as BT, Philips, Glaxo, London Total Gas and Southern Water.
