Ethos

System C has always encouraged an ethos of giving. We work in a caring industry and employ people who embrace this caring philosophy. As such, the company and many individuals within the organisation undertake and participate in various charity events for many varied and worthwhile causes.

At an organisational level, System C marked the company's 21 years in business in September 2004, by launching a Give-As-You-Earn scheme. To launch this scheme the company contributed an initial figure of £21 for each employee as at the date of incorporation which amounted to more than £3,500 in total. On an on-going basis, all employee contributions to their chosen individual charity is matched. This scheme alone currently contributes over £8,000 to good causes on an annual basis.

The organisation also participates in other charity events, including Jeans for Genes Day, Comic Relief and has raised money for Children in Need, Christie's Against Cancer, Samaritan's Purse and Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.

Our employees undertake individual charity events and challenges with financial support and encouragement from System C, usually in the form of the company's matching of colleagues' pledges. Tasks undertaken have ranged from half marathons, Run to the Beat, Maggie's London Night Hike, Nottingham Survivial of the Fittest, Tough Guy , Race for Life, Playtex Walk the Walk, BUPA London Run as well as events further afield such as trekking in the mountains of Tanzania.
